You’re Invited: Ribbon Cutting Tomorrow!

Dear Pat Butler Families,

We have something exciting to celebrate, and we’d love for you to join us! Tomorrow, Friday, August 21 at 2:30 p.m., we’ll officially cut the ribbon on Pat Butler’s new ADA-accessible playground, Expanded Learning classrooms, and garden!

The new playground gives our students a welcoming space to climb, run, explore, and play, while the new classrooms provide dedicated space for our Expanded Learning Opportunities Program, helping us serve even more students in our free after-school program for Paso Schools families. The new garden adds another space for students to learn, explore, and get their hands a little dirty.

We know it’s going to be a warm afternoon, with temperatures expected in the 90s, so we’ll keep the ceremony short and sweet. We want our students to have plenty of energy—and time—to enjoy the best part: getting out on the new playground and putting it to good use!

These new spaces are already making a difference for our students, and we hope you’ll join us for a quick celebration before we let the kids get back to the important business of playing.
