Pat Butler Weekly Update
Dear Pat Butler Families,
Thank you for another great week. Thank you to our PTA and all of our families who attended the Future Bearcat Spring Festival. Thank you to Mrs. Johnson for going in the dunk tank. What a blast!
Teacher Appreciation Week
Next week is Teacher appreciation week! If you see any of our teachers, please make sure to thank them for all they do! They make this school. The culture, the learning, the activities, the community....these are all possible because of the wonderful teachers we have!
Art in the Park
All of our students in grades K-5th grade attended a field trip to Studios on the Park. While they were there, they were able to create phenomenal art pieces. On May 4th, these art pieces will be displayed as an exhibit. Please take your children to see their masterpieces.

Smarter Balanced Summative Assessments for ELA and math (grades 3–6)
California Science Test (grades 5)
OR the California Alternate Assessments (CAA) for ELA, math (grades 3–6), and science (grades 5)
This year’s testing window is April 28–May 22. More information will be coming home from your student’s teacher.

Supporting Student Wellness
We are excited to share a new initiative to enhance mental health and wellness support for all students in the Paso Robles Joint Unified School District. Through the California Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI) Fee Schedule, our schools can now access additional funding to provide vital services, such as individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and stress-management workshops, directly on campus. This program ensures that all students, regardless of insurance coverage or immigration status, can receive support at no out-of-pocket cost to families; there are no co-pays, no deductibles, and no impact on your insurance premiums. To help our district secure this state funding, we may ask you to provide your child's insurance information and a signed consent form. Please rest assured that your family's privacy is protected under strict FERPA and HIPAA laws, and choosing not to share insurance details will never prevent your child from receiving care.
