Pat Butler Weekly Update
Dear Pat Butler Families,
Thank you for another great week at Pat Butler. Thank you to all of our parents that joined us on our field trips this week and thank you to our PTA for supporting these opportunities. We are excited for all of our Butler Bears that leave for Science Camp this coming week. We know you will have an amazing time.
College and Career Day - Thursday, April 23
Mrs. Aldridge is looking for more volunteers to join us on College and Career Day during lunch time (11:00am-1:00pm). We would love to have you come mingle with our students, bring a prop, wear your uniform, and help expose our students to a variety of careers. It is so exciting for them to talk to visitors and helps make this day so much fun. Please reach out to Mrs. Aldridge or your students' teacher if you are interested!

The Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI)
Paso Robles Joint Unified School District is committed to ensuring that every student has access to the resources they need to stay healthy and succeed in school. A new California program, The Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI), reinforces this commitment by unlocking additional funding for schools, making it easier for students to get behavioral and mental health support at no out-of-pocket cost to families. Paso Schools will be implementing this program next Fall, 2026. What does this mean for you? No out-of-pocket cost: A new state law requires health insurers to cover the cost of behavioral and mental health services. Schools will ask for your student’s health insurance information, but rest assured, families won’t be charged – no co-pays, no billing, and no impact to your insurance premiums. No effect on outside care: Getting services at school won’t limit your student’s ability to receive care outside of school. Consent: Your consent may be required for the school to share certain health details. You will receive a form with further details. Your Information is Safe. Your child’s privacy matters. All data is protected under federal laws that safeguard health and education records.
