Pat Butler Weekly Update
Dear Pat Butler Families,
Thank you for another great week. It was so much fun to end the week with an all school dance! Thank you PTA for decorating and organizing such a fun event.
Pat Butler Employees of the Year
Congratulations to Mrs. Reid and Mrs. Wagner! Their commitment to our students and community truly makes a difference every single day. We feel so grateful to have such inspiring educators on our team.
Field Trips
We have many field trips happening this week. We have some classes going to Studios on the Park, the Elephant Seals/Hearst Castle and also Mission San Inez. Please make sure that you have been reading your teachers weekly email and have permission slips signed. Also, make sure to remind your child that field trips are amazing opportunities to learn outside of school and it is important that we demonstrate amazing RISE characteristics so that we can continue these amazing opportunities. Thank you to our amazing PTA and families for helping to fund such incredible educational opportunities.
SSC #4 3/26 @ 2:30 in the Library

Track and Field Schedule -
Please see the schedule below for updated track and field information.

Morning Drop-off and afternoon Pick-Up
Please be aware that there will be cones blocking off the second lane of cars entering the drop off lane. There should only be one drop off lane and all adults dropping off in this lane must stay in their cars. Students should exit the car from the door facing the curb quickly. This lane is not for parking at any time of the day.
The top parking lot is NOT a drop off lane. If you are walking your student in, you must park in a designated parking spot or in the surrounding neighborhood.
All Kindergarten and TK students must be walked in, thus you need to park in a designated parking spot or on the street.
Also, you may not park in designated handicap parking places without displaying a handicap parking permit. We have students and staff that need access to these designated spaces.
Thank you for partnering with us to ensure that student safety is at the forefront of all decision making.
Remember- we have supervision starting at 7:40 so consider dropping off earlier when the parking lot is less crowded.

The Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI)
Paso Robles Joint Unified School District is committed to ensuring that every student has access to the resources they need to stay healthy and succeed in school. A new California program, The Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI), reinforces this commitment by unlocking additional funding for schools, making it easier for students to get behavioral and mental health support at no out-of-pocket cost to families. Paso Schools will be implementing this program next Fall, 2026. What does this mean for you? No out-of-pocket cost: A new state law requires health insurers to cover the cost of behavioral and mental health services. Schools will ask for your student’s health insurance information, but rest assured, families won’t be charged – no co-pays, no billing, and no impact to your insurance premiums. No effect on outside care: Getting services at school won’t limit your student’s ability to receive care outside of school. Consent: Your consent may be required for the school to share certain health details. You will receive a form with further details. Your Information is Safe. Your child’s privacy matters. All data is protected under federal laws that safeguard health and education records.
